SCI-FI-LONDON:Lab Programme
Geek Girl Manga, Dan Dare and satire, viral videos, British Superheroes, the future of Faith, iPad and e-book evangelicals and the birth of modern Doctor Who... Last year we pioneered SFL: LAB, a series of talks and panels that took a more holistic approach to SF discussion as we mixed up scientists with writers, comic book creators and comedians, humanists and radio producers. This year we’re building on that initial success by inviting an even wider selection of interesting creators, critics and (counter)-culture conspiracy connoisseurs.
To go with this year’s theme of Life in 2050, we’re looking at the future of art, publishing, humour and travel in 40 years’ time with some of the finest guests you can see and hear that have a vested interest in Science-Fiction and Science-Fact throughout the media and beyond.
