John Logan

John Logan is probably best known for his screenplays of THE LAST SAMURAI and the two Oscar®-winning movies GLADIATOR and THE AVIATOR, but he is also an avid sci-fi fan who adapted THE TIME MACHINE for the movie starring Guy Pierce, as well as writing STAR TREK: NEMESIS. Chris Patmore spoke to him during the junket for SWEENEY TODD, the Stephen Sondheim musical he adapted for the screen, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp in the title role. We took time out from the subject at hand to talk about his genre titles, something he was more than happy to do.
